Free Fish, Asia Society
Site specific installation for Asia Society, inspired by a Ming-dynasty Chinese porcelain jar selected from Asia Society’s Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection. My intension was to create dialogue with the collection piece in relation to historical context between China and Ryukyu kingdom, former Okinawa.
Kimono Pattern captured the image of Asia Society’s Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection in rhythm of Bingata style.
